The State of Digital Publishing, a startup market research publisher focused on digital media, is hosting an online event called WordPress Publishers Performance Summit (WPPS) on July 27th¹. The organization aims to assist publishers in developing sustainable business models through education, guides, online courses, and other resources.

In other news from the WordPress community, the inaugural cohort of the WordPress Contributor Mentorship Program has been announced². This experimental program, organized by the Contributor Working Group, aims to provide mentorship opportunities for contributors. The launch of this cohort is set for July 12th.

Birgit Pauli-Haack, a WordPress Core Contributor known for her work with the Gutenberg Block Editor, is fostering community spirit through knowledge sharing³. She curates content on the Gutenberg Times website to provide news and opinion pieces from diverse perspectives within the WordPress community. Her goal is to ensure that everyone can benefit from this platform regardless of their background or level of expertise.

If you’re a blogger who enjoys reflecting on past writings, you might be interested in building your own “On This Day” page for WordPress⁴. This feature allows you to easily access and revisit your previous blog posts from specific dates. While it may require some coding skills, there are resources available to guide you through the process.

Lastly, Bluehost has incorporated artificial intelligence (AI) into its new WordPress site-building package called WonderSuite⁵. As a web hosting service specializing in WordPress hosting, Bluehost aims to provide users with a digital co-pilot that facilitates fast and easy website creation. The AI-powered features within WonderSuite aim to simplify the website-building process for users.
