The WordPress Foundation is offering the Kim Parsell Memorial Scholarship for travel to WordCamp US 2023. This scholarship honors the memory of a valued and committed contributor to the WordPress open source project. The Foundation aims to further the efforts of contributors who demonstrate Kim’s spirit by helping them attend WordCamp US 2023.

In other news, WordPress’ Community Team has announced a new era of WordCamps that focuses on promoting adoption, training, and networking for professionals. This evolution will ensure that WordCamps remain relevant and beneficial to users.

Finally, email authentication is important because it helps ensure that emails received are actually from the sender they claim to be from and have not been tampered with during transmission. A new WordPress plugin makes it finally possible to DKIM sign your website’s emails, which verifies email authenticity by checking whether it has been modified during transmission. By signing your website’s emails with DKIM, you can increase their deliverability and build trust with recipients while preventing spam and phishing attacks.

That’s all for today’s WP Briefs. We hope you found these stories informative and helpful.
