WordCamp Europe 2024 will be hosted by the Italian WordPress community in Torino, Italy from June 13th to 15th. They are currently seeking organizers to serve on various teams such as attendee services, budgeting, design, sales and sponsors, communications, and more.
Next up, we have a new video tutorial from WordPress TV on how to start using WordPress Playground. The video takes you through the process of utilizing WordPress Playground which allows you to run your own private in-browser version of WordPress. With this tool, you can build themes, create entire websites, test plugins and much more.
Moving on, we have an update on WooCommerce Product Filters v1.4 based on user feedback. The latest version introduces new features such as infinite scroll functionality, styling options for customization, compatibility with Bricks builder plugin and more.
Lastly in today’s news roundup, we have an announcement regarding the postponement of WordPress 6.3 Beta 1 release due to an unexpected error during testing phase. Styles in wp-admin are not loading unless SCRIPT_DEBUG is set to true. Contributors are actively investigating the issue and once it’s resolved, the release party will resume hopefully some time today.
